New Year, new meaningless music project. I’m listening to the top 100 albums based on some random list. Gonna try to listen to all 100 before the end of the year. First up: Swordfishtrombones by Tom Waits. I didn’t think I was a fan of Tom Waits. And listening to this album, I’m still not. This album isn’t as shrill and grating as some of the other stuff I’ve heard by him, but still not my jam. And I just know some hipster-doofus fought like hell to put this in the top 10 and everyone else finally aquiessed to put it at 100 just to shut him (undoubtably a him) up.
